Plot of the series Black Sea (2020):
The series takes place in the summer of 1944. Liberated from the Germans, Novorossiysk was returning to peaceful life. And the Soviet troops continued to liberate the Black Sea coast, with the Crimean offensive operation ahead.
However, in Novorossiysk itself, enemy reconnaissance and sabotage groups were still active, preparing sabotage against the ships of the Black Sea Fleet.
Thus, the cruiser "Nesokrushimy" almost went to the bottom from the explosion of an enemy mine. By a lucky chance, the supply barge mined by saboteurs exploded earlier and did not hit "Nesokrushimy".

Hot on the trail, Saburov manages to expose the group of saboteurs. However, this was only half the battle, because the Germans will send new ones to replace the old saboteurs and it will not be so easy to neutralize them.
During the development of the saboteurs, Saburov learned that somewhere near Odessa there was a secret Abwehr school for training submarine saboteurs, but no one knew its exact location except for the group leader Nikolai Panin.
Panin was an ideological enemy of the Soviet government and, as Saburov understood, he would not give up any secrets under any torture, so Saburov made a risky decision to re-recruit the agent...
