Narrative:
The action of the film "The Final Verdict" takes place in our time. The judge of the Zaretsky District Court Anna Pokrovskaya is known in the city for her honesty and integrity, and has made many enemies in the criminal world.
One of her former wards promised to take revenge on the judge after his release, and when he returned to the city after several years of imprisonment, Pokrovskaya became seriously alarmed, because she had a fifteen-year-old daughter, Kristina.
A few days later, Kristina did not come home in the evening, and in the morning Pokrovskaya learned that her daughter had been kidnapped, but her former ward had nothing to do with the kidnapping.
The kidnapper demanded that Pokrovskaya not contact the police and review a number of criminal cases in which the judge had allegedly issued an unfair sentence.
Fulfilling the kidnapper's demands, Pokrovskaya began reviewing cases that were somehow connected. Only by realizing this connection in time does Anna manage to track down her daughter's kidnapper...
