Narrative:

Действие фильма «Тайна записной книжки» происходит в начале 80-х годов прошлого века в Москве. Торговый работник Юрий Самарцев задержан по подозрению в embezzlement of socialist property. His brother, a rocket officer Major Alexei Samartsev does not believe in the guilt of Yuri and comes to Moscow, that would be himself to understand the case.

Having met Yuri, he realized that he had been set up by the bigger dolts of shadow business, with whom he was doing business. But as his brother told him, he had a notebook hidden in a safe place, in which he recorded all the secrets and, most importantly, the figures of underground trade.

Yuri's notebook was also known to his colleagues, who strongly recommend Alexei to give it to them, promising to help his brother in exchange. But Yuri refuses to make a deal with the criminals and then the leader of the criminal gang Martyn Martynych decides to put his former lover Natasha to Samartsev. He hoped that Natasha could charm the incorruptible major and lure away his notebook, but this number of criminals does not pass.

Then they decide on the very last - forceful variant of the issue. Having tracked down Samartsev at his former colleague's dacha, they send their fighters there. But Samartsev is insured, he gathers at the dacha a few more of his former coworkers, with whom he is ready to give a strong rebuff to the bandits....
