The series takes place in our time. A gang of "funny men", nicknamed by law enforcement for their funny masks, commits a daring robbery of a bank branch.
Young cashier Marina Bogdanova almost became a victim of bandits when she tried to stand up for one of her colleagues, but the police did not appreciate Marina's actions and even suspected her of having ties to bandits.
But what shocked Marina most was that at that fateful moment when the bandits almost killed her, her boyfriend Lenya Mazanin, who worked as a system administrator at the bank, did not stand up for her. Marina, who had previously planned to marry Lenya, cancels the wedding and even transfers to work at another bank.

And soon another man appears in her life - Vlad Kapronov. He was the exact opposite of Lena: handsome, strong, brave and, if necessary, ready to stand up for his beloved girl. Marina fell in love with Vlad so much that she was not even embarrassed when he admitted that he was a member of the gang of "merry little men".
And when Vlad offers Marina to participate in the robbery of her new bank, the girl, hypnotized by love, readily agrees. However, this game with fire almost ends in an even greater tragedy for the girl...
