Narrative:

The action of the series "My Border" takes place in the late 90s, early 2000s. Alexander Uporov and Sergei Nesterov, graduates of the Moscow border school, are sent to continue their service on the border.

Lieutenant Uporov goes to Karelia to guard the northern borders of the Motherland, and his best friend, Lieutenant Nesterov, goes to the Caucasus. On his section of the border, Uporov fights mainly poachers, while in the Caucasus, his comrade-in-arms Nesterov confronts armed Islamist militants and drug dealers.

Having received command of the border outpost, Uporov is firmly on the tail of the fish mafia, and, fearing reprisals against the officer, the command decides to urgently transfer him to another unit. However, Uporov is not used to giving in to danger and asks for a transfer to the Caucasus, where he takes command of the 12th border outpost.

The neighboring outpost is commanded by his best friend Sergei Nesterov, and together they are now a threat to smugglers, Chechen militants, and other border violators.

But a film about the border, male friendship and officer's honor would be incomplete without love and women. Even before leaving for the border, Nesterov introduces Uporov to Natasha, the daughter of diplomats and a successful journalist. It was love at first sight, and it seemed that only death could separate the lovers.

However, Natasha, who was accustomed to comfort, was not going to exchange Moscow for an outpost and travel with her husband to distant garrisons. She expected that Uporov would quit his service for her sake and return to Moscow, but Uporov was not going to give in to his beloved woman in this matter. This caused a serious rift in the relationship of two people who felt an irresistible attraction to each other, but at the same time had such different views on life. In this case, who, if not his best friend Sergei Nesterov, could help Uporov and Natasha reconcile and find some kind of compromise...
