Narrative:

The action of the series "Missing in Action" takes place in the mid-90s. While pursuing a member of an organized crime group nicknamed "Turk", operative officer Alexander Bukreev gets into an accident, as a result of which he ends up in a coma that lasts for eighteen long years...

Лишь в 2013 году Букреев приходит в сознание, о чем врачи местной больницы сообщают в полицию. А вскоре к Букрееву наведывается его давний знакомый из 90-х. Это был «Черт» — правая рука криминального авторитета «Авдея», разработку которого вел Букреев. Так вот «Черт» сообщил Александру, что за ним должок числится.

«Турок», которого преследовал в 1995 году Букреев, украл у «Авдея» «common fund» в сумме три миллиона долларов и важные документы. А так как вскоре «Турок» был найден мертвым в своей машине, а денег и документов при нем обнаружено не было, то бандиты рассудили, что ими завладел пропавший без вести Букреев.Букреев понял, что бандиты не отстанут от него по-хорошему, и бежит из больницы.

In order to figure out what happened to him eighteen years ago, he had to find his partner Sergei Tikhonov, who was with him on that fateful day. Arriving in Moscow, Bukreev learns that Tikhonov resigned from the police shortly after that story.

Now he is a prosperous businessman, an exemplary family man and a father of two children. And Sergey's wife was Masha - Bukreev's former fiancée and Sasha realized that now he was clearly superfluous at this celebration of life. And with his sudden appearance on stage he risked ruining the plans of his former best friend and fiancée...
