Narrative:
The action of the film "Permit Takeoff!" takes place in the early 70s of the last century. The main character of the film is a pilot of "small" aviation Sergei Sakhno from a young age in the sky. He went through the war in aviation, and in the post-war period served as a military pilot and now his main aircraft is the "maize" AN-2.
But everything comes to an end, because age takes its toll and health problems have emerged. Nevertheless, Sakhno is not going to leave aviation, because his whole life has been spent here.
However, the tragic death of the squadron commander forced Sakhno to change his plans and ask the leadership to transfer him to the control room.
But even in this place, Sakhno showed his best side, and his vast experience as a pilot helped prevent a catastrophe. The right landing gear of the passenger IL-14, which was approaching for landing, failed, and only thanks to the competent actions of the dispatcher Sakhno, the crew commander managed to land the plane successfully...
