Narrative:
The action of the film "My father's son» происходит в современной России. Главный герой фильма — Глеб Романов, талантливый нейрохирург и приемный сын владельца Озерского нейрохирургического «Центра Романова» Аркадия Романова. Однажды сам того не желая, Глеб «перешел дорогу» своему сводному брату Борису и родному сыну своего приемного отца.
Boris was also a successful neurosurgeon, but his father always admired Gleb, considering him more talented than Boris, and soon Boris's fiancée, the rising show business star Lana Karelina, left him for Gleb.
Such reckless love for his adopted son causes a painful reaction in Romanov's wife, Galina, which is further aggravated by material factors, since Arkady was the owner of the clinic, and it is possible that he would decide to transfer it to Gleb. Taking advantage of the fact that Arkady Romanov was in a coma due to brain cancer, his wife and son Boris decide to get rid of him and take over the clinic.

Unsuspecting Gleb is sent by his mother and brother on a business trip to Albania, supposedly for an internship with a local professor of medicine. Here in Albania, Gleb will have to assist the professor in removing a tumor, just like the one his father had. According to the agreement between the brothers, upon Gleb's return from the business trip, they will have to operate on their father together.
But after sending Gleb away from Ozersk, Boris immediately performs an operation on his father, which leaves him paralyzed. This really angered Boris and his mother, and now they decide to leave Gleb in Albania forever, hiring thugs who will have to kill him. But despite the efforts of his stepbrother and his mother, Gleb survived, although he lost his memory for a while. Soon he arrives in his homeland to figure out who and why is so persistently trying to get rid of him...
