Narrative:
The action of the series "Back to the USSR" takes place in our time. The main character of the film, Anton Rodimov, received from life everything that he could not even dream of in childhood. By his thirty-odd years, he is a successful businessman - the president and main shareholder of a large investment company.
Yachts, round-the-world trips, the best world resorts, a favorite girl from the cover of a fashionable glossy magazine - all this could drive an ordinary man crazy, but Anton, accustomed to big money, increasingly felt that he was missing something in life. Because of this, the young man even became addicted to alcohol. On the advice of his best friend and business partner, he begins to attend courses of anonymous alcoholics, where he meets a certain "Stalker".
A mysterious stranger promises to help Anton and send him on a journey he has never been on before. That same evening, Anton is attacked by hooligans, as a result of which he receives a head injury and loses consciousness, and when he comes to, he finds himself in a small provincial town in 1975.
The prospect of living in the USSR does not please Anton very much, and he tries to find "Stalker" so that he would return him to his time, but meeting the charming Natasha Smirnova changes these plans. Anton even tries to make a career as a party leader, so that after the collapse of the USSR he can become an oligarch, but it soon turns out that his journey into the past is nothing more than a well-staged prank. And Natasha, her taxi driver friend, police officers, doctors in a mental hospital and the first secretary of the city committee are just actors of district theaters...
