Plot of the cartoon:

The cat had a new house, beautiful and big. The cat was very proud of her new house and not just anyone could get into it, not even her little nephews - two orphan kittens.

There was no room for them at the housewarming party, to which the cat invited all her friends. The friends praised the cat's house, swore eternal friendship and invited the cat to visit them again.

But while the cat was going to see her guests off, a spark flew out of the lighted fireplace, which started a fire in the house. So the cat's new house burned down on the day of the housewarming, and the now homeless cat found herself in the winter cold without a roof over her head.

Here she remembered her friends, who had recently invited her to visit them, but as it turned out, no one needed the homeless cat anymore.

Only her two little kittens, nephews, whom she had chased away from her house that morning, agreed to shelter their unfortunate aunt in her old and cramped house.

Now the cat understood who her real friends were, and in the spring they all built a new cat house, even bigger and more beautiful than the previous one...
