The film takes place in the early 90s in Leningrad. International journalist Olga could not imagine how her trip to the dacha would end, where she was invited to translate a foreign film by four seemingly intelligent and cultured men. Instead of translating the film, the girl was gang raped.
But Olga did not report her abusers to the police, and having sold her diamond earrings, she hired the crime boss Valdemar and asked him to punish the rapists. The first to be overtaken by the hired executioner's hand was the daughter of Igor, one of the four friends, the restaurant's maitre d'. Valdemar's henchmen brutally rape the girl, and Olga calls Igor and tells him that they are now even.
Having learned that Olga has probably started hunting them, the criminals urgently gather to discuss what to do next. Having gone through all possible situations, they decide to pay off Olga and send Andrey, who did not participate in the rape, to negotiate with her.
Andrey goes to negotiate with Olga, but they fail to have a constructive dialogue. In a fit of rage, Andrey hits Olga in the face, but in return receives a knife wound. A surgeon friend, Sergei, at Olga's request provides Andrey with medical assistance, but he cannot be taken to the hospital with a knife wound. For two weeks, Andrey was forced to stay in Olga's apartment, and she carefully looked after the wounded man.
Such closeness between yesterday's enemies did not pass without a trace. Olga begins to understand that she was wrong to start this whole mess with Valdemar. In addition, she and Andrey developed mutual sympathy, which had every chance of developing into a great feeling. Realizing how dear Andrey is to her now, Olga tries to cancel her plans, but it turned out to be not so easy. The money for the job was paid in full, so the hired executioner was going to complete it to the end...
