The plot of Prison Break Season 4:

After escaping from the Sona prison in Panama, Michael his brother Lincoln and the other escapees return to the United States. However, in their homeland, they all face punishment. And the authorities threaten to send them all to Fox River Prison, where this story began, which has tied the escapees together with a strong chain.

But there was a way out. Michael and his fellow inmates, including his brother Lincoln, former FBI agent Alexander Mahone, former Fox River guard Brad Bellick and ex-convict Fernando Sucre, simply needed to work for the state.
