Narrative:

The action of the movie takes place in the mid-70s of the last century in Britain. After the death of his sister, Dr. Lang decides to move into an elite high-rise designed by architect Anthony Royal. House of the future, so called architectural creation of Royal, the peculiarity of such a house Royal was that it was almost autonomous.

A resident of a high-rise did not need to leave the building to go to the store, gym or swimming pool, all of which could be visited without leaving the house. The resident could leave the house only to go to work, and the rest of his life was spent in the high-rise.

At first, Lang thought it was very comfortable and convenient to live in such a house, until he was involved in heated arguments between neighbors. It turned out that Royal's high-rise was a mold of a typical class society, and this despite the fact that the house was an elite one.

The status of a resident of a house was determined by the floor on which he lived, the higher the floor, the higher the status. All this did not please the residents of the lower floors, who tried to assert their rights to universal equality...
