Plot:

At this time in France there is a rivalry for power: King Louis XIII and Cardinal Richelieu. The Cardinal has sent his spies throughout the country, who must identify those who are unreliable and dissatisfied with the Cardinal's policies. In the small town of Mengo, D'Artagnan stands up for the wandering artists who sang seditious songs about Cardinal Richelieu.

He prevents the Cardinal's men from arresting street singers, and almost dies himself. But Cardinal Rochefort's man steals his letter of recommendation. Arriving in Paris, D'Artagnan rents a room from a certain haberdasher Bonacieux, whose charming wife Constance immediately captivates him. But he hurries to the palace to the captain of the king's musketeers.

De Treville welcomed the young Gascon, and in memory of his friendship with his father, promised to place him in the company of the king's musketeers. But then, D'Artagnan saw through the window a man from Maingo, who stole his letter of recommendation and hurried after him. In his haste, he pushes in turn the best musketeers of King Porthos, Aramis, and Athos, and they challenge him to a duel.

Arriving at the duel site, D'Artagnan only manages to draw his sword to cross it with the first musketeer he has insulted, Porthos. But here all the participants in the duel are surrounded by the Cardinal's guards, the musketeers' worst enemies. The guards demand that the musketeers follow them. But the musketeers decide to accept the fight.

D'Artagnan is on the side of the Musketeers. Having killed all of the Cardinal's guards, three comrades-in-arms: Porthos, Aramis and Athos, accept D'Artagnan into their company.

Meanwhile, the Cardinal continues to weave his intrigues. He learns from his spies about the love correspondence of the Queen of France with the English Duke of Buckingham, and informs the King about it. But the Queen manages to send a letter to the Duke with her faithful Constance Bonacieux.

Then the Cardinal advises the King to hold a ball and tell the Queen to appear at the ball wearing the twelve diamond pendants he gave her. The Cardinal knew that the Queen had given these pendants to the Duke.

At Constance's request, D'Artagnan goes to London. The pendants must be returned within ten days. D'Artagnan, risking his life, carries out this task and saves the queen's honor and Constance's life. The Cardinal learns of Constance's involvement in this matter and orders her sent to the Bastille.

D'Artagnan asks the queen to hide her faithful servant, and Constance is sent to a monastery. D'Artagnan hurries to his beloved, but Milady, a cunning and insidious executor of the cardinal's secret orders, penetrates the monastery and kills Constance.

D'Artagnan and his friends set out in pursuit of the insidious poisoner and catch her. Meanwhile, the King of France declares war on England. His best musketeers D'Artagnan, Porthos, Athos and Aramis are sent into the thick of the fighting.

After the victory, Porthos, Aramis and Athos are going to leave military service, and D'Artagnan becomes a lieutenant of the king's musketeers. The friends agree to meet in twenty years...
