The European continent is shaken by a high-profile contract killing. The victim of a hired killer is a candidate for Chancellor of Germany from the far-right party, whom the killer struck in the very center of the German capital and under heavy security.
The only shot was fired from a sniper rifle from a building across the street. Although the police and security services immediately cordoned off the building, the killer somehow managed to slip away.
The weapon he was working with also disappeared from the scene of the crime. This fact is very interesting to detectives, because it is almost impossible to hide a rifle in a bag or briefcase. If only to assume that the weapon used by the killer had not only a collapsible buttstock, but also the barrel itself.
In theory, any even a scratch on the barrel significantly affects the accuracy of the firearm, and the threading nullified that accuracy altogether.
