Plot:

In one circus there lived a lion named Boniface. He was a very calm and hardworking lion, and the director of the circus considered him a genius artist. After the performances, the director often took Boniface for a walk in the city, and one day the lion saw that there were a lot of children on the street.

Lev was surprised by this, because according to the time the children were supposed to be at school, but the director explained to him that it was summer now, and in summer the children had vacations. Having learned about the vacations, Boniface began to ask the director to give him a vacation too, so that he could go to his homeland in Africa and visit his grandmother.

The director happily agreed to let Boniface go, and soon he set off on his journey, dreaming of sunbathing, swimming, and fishing. But on his first day at the beach, Boniface met a little girl who was very scared of him. To amuse her, the lion began to juggle and show other circus tricks, and the next day the girl brought a dozen more children with her.

Forgetting about fishing, Boniface began entertaining the children, of whom more and more came every day. He didn’t even notice how his vacation flew by, and it was time to return to work at the circus…
