An operative officer of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of one of the residential areas of St. Petersburg, Captain (Major) Pavel Semenov, by chance ends up serving in an elite department in the Central Police Department on Nevsky Prospect.

From the first days of service, Semenov understood that it was practically impossible to get here by accident, because Nevsky is not just the central area of the city. Nevsky is the most expensive stores, night clubs and restaurants, which like a magnet attracted criminals and dishonest businessmen.

Semenov realized that with a central police officer's ID in his pocket, he could easily make a decent fortune, and many of his new colleagues were quite successful in this.
