Plot of the film The Transporter (2002 film):
The film takes place in France at the beginning of the 21st century. The main character of the film is Frank, a former military man who, when he served in the army, thought that he was protecting people. But one day Frank saw the light: he realized that he was serving some incomprehensible and not entirely pure goals of high politics.
After leaving the army, Frank became a carrier. Following three simple rules: do not change the terms of the contract, do not ask or give any names, and finally, do not inquire about the cargo being transported, Frank quickly gained fame in the criminal world of France. His services were used by the biggest mafiosi, and Frank was able to make a good fortune, much more than his military service gave him.
But one day Frank got carried away. He was supposed to deliver a bag to an American nicknamed "Wall Street", but on the way he got a flat tire on his BMW. Opening the trunk to take the spare tire, Frank noticed that the bag was moving and groans were coming from it. Opening the bag, Frank saw a young girl of Chinese appearance in it.
Frank gives the girl a drink and then lets her go to the toilet. The girl asks to hear her out, but Frank shoves her back into the trunk and takes her to Wall Street. Wall Street suspects that Frank has learned about the contents of the cargo and instructs him to deliver a small briefcase on the way back and gives him the address.
The briefcase contained a time bomb, but Frank miraculously escaped death by going out for a few minutes to grab a bite to eat at a roadside cafe. Having realized who planted the bomb, Frank returns to the Wall Street villa and starts a small war with his guards there. Having neutralized all those who resist, Frank grabs a Mercedes from the garage and drives home. But after driving a few kilometers, he notices that same Chinese woman in the back seat.
Already at his home, Lai Kwai, that was the girl's name, tells Frank that "Wall Street" is engaged in human trafficking. Soon a ship will arrive from China, and on the ship, a container with several hundred Chinese, whom the bandits are going to sell into slavery.
At first, Lai Kwai's story did not really move Frank to pity; during his time as a carrier, he tried not to give in to emotions. But soon "Wall Street" came to his house with his militants. Frank and Lai Kwai miraculously managed to escape from the surrounded house, which the militants opened heavy fire on.
Now Frank, under Lai's influence, finally remembered that he was a former military man, and as we know, there are no former officers. Frank also remembered that as a former officer he should protect people, and not work for those who kill them...
