Narrative:
Daylight robbery.
An intelligent-looking man bought a bicycle and let a casual acquaintance test it. Seeing that the latter did not appear for a long time, the man began to worry, and everyone around him was outraged by his frivolity and lack of principles, entrusting such a thing as a bicycle to a stranger. The delayed passers-by are trying to help the unlucky buyer make a photofit of the criminal, when suddenly a small boy came out from around the corner on a tricycle, and the happy buyer rushed to meet him...
With a confession.
Future director grocery store comes to the investigator with a confession. Having told the investigator about his yet-to-be-committed thefts, the man listened to a sad sentence: fifteen years of imprisonment. As consolation, the investigator said that the court would take into account the confession and reduce the sentence by three years. The man, upset by such a harsh sentence, was forced to tell the investigator that he had only been appointed director of the grocery store that day…

While checking tickets on a tram, a controller encounters an abnormal case. An intelligent man is riding without a ticket, saying that he has a travel card, only... in a chest of drawers, and he forgot the key at home. The controller was very surprised when he saw a chest of drawers on the tram and demanded a fine for transporting a chest of drawers for free, but the man took three tickets out of his pocket and showed them to the controller. It turns out that the man was transporting not only his travel card in the chest of drawers, but also his wife and son...
