Plot of the movie June 31 (1978 film):

The film takes place at the end of the 12th century in the kingdom of Preador. The local ruler Meliot wants to marry his daughter to one of his best knights. However, Princess Milicent rejects one suitor after another, finding in them shortcomings unworthy of true knights.

But one day, the magician and sorcerer Malgrim appears in the castle of King Meliot, who promises to introduce the princess to a real knight: handsome, smart and brave.

In gratitude, Millicent would have to give Malgrim a magical brooch, given to the princess by the Great Merlin himself. Malgrim could easily take possession of this brooch, but its magical properties were preserved only in the case of voluntary transfer.

Meanwhile, at the beginning of the 21st century, artist Sam Penty receives a commission to paint an image of a beautiful lady for a stocking advertisement, which he must present to management by July 1.

For a long time, Sam cannot portray the face of the supposed girl, until one day he sees a beautiful stranger in the mirror...
