Plot:
The Adventures of Petrov and Vasechkin. Part One.
Fourth-grader Vasya Petrov falls in love with his classmate Masha Startseva. But Masha was an excellent student, and Petrov was a poor student, so how can there be friendship between them? Petrov's bosom friend Petya Vasechkin volunteers to help him.
Vasechkin advises Petrov to turn to a classic, and the friends begin to study the greatest expert on love, William Shakespeare.
The Taming of the Shrew becomes the friends' reference book. But putting their knowledge into practice turns out to be much more difficult...
The Adventures of Petrov and Vasechkin. Part Two.
Vasechkin and Petrov meet a janitor on their way to school, who also happens to be a wizard, and he promises the boys to fulfill their three cherished wishes. Petrov asks the wizard to make him the strongest, and Vasechkin wants to have only A's in his class register.
The wizard fulfills these wishes and says that the third wish will be fulfilled only after saying out loud the phrase: "Incredible, but true." At first, Petrov and Vasechkin were happy about their extraordinary abilities, but then they realized that they were simply interfering with their lives. But they forgot the cherished phrase for fulfilling the third wish. Their beloved friend Masha Startseva helps them remember this cherished phrase...

The film "White Sun of the Desert" is shown on the country's screens. This film immediately becomes Petrov and Vsekhkin's favorite film. During another viewing of the film, the friends get into the plot and help themselves to comrade Sukhov…
Part four.
To popularize the study of French, plays by the French writer Charles Pierrot are staged at school. Vasechkin, who was supposed to play the wolf in the fairy tale "Little Red Riding Hood", fell ill, and Petrov was appointed instead.
But when Vasechkin learned that Masha Startseva would play Little Red Riding Hood, he instantly recovered and rushed to school, but the performance had already ended by that time. But this did not stop Vasechkin, dressed in a wolf costume, he ran onto the stage and ruined the entire performance, turning it into a comedy...
The Adventures of Petrov and Vasechkin. Part Five.
Masha Startseva becomes the school champion in the nomination of the best, in studies – the best in sports, receiving several medals for this. Petrov and Vasechkin, wanting to prove to Masha that they are no worse than her, try to play out a situation with saving a drowning person in the water. Petrov was supposed to play the drowning person, and Vasechkin was supposed to “save” him. But since neither of them knew how to swim, they almost became victims of their own adventure. Fortunately, Masha Startseva arrived in time, and saved the would-be rescuers, receiving another medal for this…
