The plot of the movie:

The movie takes place in London on Cherry Street. The inhabitants of Cherry Street, as well as all Londoners, are preoccupied with information about space aliens.

And the Banks couple, among other things, are concerned about finding a nanny for their children: Michael and Jane. The problem is that the parents put an ad in the newspaper, looking for the best nanny for the smallest salary.

Naturally, under such not quite acceptable conditions, it was very hard to count on a positive result. But this time fate itself smiled on the family of George Banks.

A few minutes later, when a UFO was spotted in the sky, a young and beautiful woman knocked on the Banks' house and introduced herself as Mary Poppins.

She informed Mrs. Banks that she accepted her offer and was ready to begin her babysitting duties immediately.

This new nanny has quickly gained the love of not only Michael and Jane, but all the residents of Cherry Street. She is very judicious, strict, but at the same time kind and sweet.

Mary understood the language of beasts and birds, could make a not-so-pleasant butcher sing, bring a statue to life, pacify an angry Miss Andrew, and put her in a cage instead of a parrot.

But all good things come to an end, and Mary, having accomplished her mission, had to go wherever her help was needed at the moment.

In farewell, Mary organizes a birthday party and invites all the residents of Cherry Street to it. To whom she gives the most precious gift of all: the opportunity to meet her own childhood.....
