Narrative:
The action of the movie "Lonely is provided dormitory" takes place in the early 1980s in Russia. Retired submarine officer Victor Petrovich Frolov is appointed commandant in the women's dormitory at the weaving factory. A former colleague of his colleague has put him in this position, but Frolov was far from being delighted with this not masculine at first glance job.
Seven years ago, his wife left him treacherously, during another trip and now Frolov was wary of women, and in this job he will be surrounded by only women.
In addition, on his first visit to the hostel, Frolov learns that one of his charges, Vera Nikolayevna Golubeva, has organized something like a marriage office in the hostel. This angered the new commandant, who in a fever thought that Vera organized in the hostel a kind of brothel, and promised to soon put the statutory order here.
Meanwhile, Vera was engaged in a very noble cause and on a voluntary basis. She helped her friends - single women and girls - to find their soul mates, and thanks to her efforts many girls had already married and were happy.
Soon Frolov was forced to recognize that Vera is engaged in a very correct and useful business. Besides, he liked Vera very much and realizes that this is the woman he has been looking for all his life....
