Действие фильма «Будьте моим мужем» происходит в начале 80-х годов прошлого века. Врач-pediatrician Victor hasn't had a vacation for five years, and this summer he definitely decides to go to the south, to the sea to heal his nerves. But since Victor came to the resort without a voucher, it was very problematic to get into a boarding house, so Victor decides to find a bed in the private sector.

Natalya Vostrikova, who came to the sea with her young son Ilya, finds herself in the same situation. Not only did she not have a voucher for a holiday home, but the owner of the house where Natasha found a room refused to rent it to vacationers with children. Having accidentally met Viktor, Natasha asks him to play the role of her jealous husband, who, after she rents a room, should "suddenly" come to her with a child.

Victor agreed, especially since he didn't have a roof over his head yet, and also hoping to continue dating Natasha. But Natasha was unlucky with her first husband: he ran away from her on the second day of their life together, so she was in no hurry to start an affair, especially at a resort where all the men were "bachelors".

But Victor clearly did not seem like someone looking for a fleeting relationship, and besides, he loved children very much, and her son Ilya became very attached to him...
