Narrative:

Действие фильма «Трижды о любви» происходит в начале 80-х годов прошлого века. Главный герой фильма веселый деревенский парень Василий Лобанов.

Leaving for the army, Vasily left at home his fiancée Nyurka, who, without waiting for him, gets married. After the army Vasily stays to live in Leningrad, but after a few years the pain of lost love gradually went away and Lobanov returns to his native village, where he works as a collective farm chauffeur.

Having failed in his first love, Vasily is in no hurry to start a new relationship, but one day a new librarian Lena appears in the village. She as Vasily learned, left her husband and with a young daughter came to live with them in the village. Seeing that the girl is always sad, Vasily at first tries to cheer her up, but then love comes to Vasily and he can't imagine life without this fragile and modest girl and her little daughter.
