Narrative:

The action of the movie That's the kind of music takes place in Soviet times, in the first half of the 80s. Lyudmila Belyaeva, a graduate of the Music and Pedagogical Institute, dreams of becoming a pop singer and performing on the big stage, but is forced by her commitment to go to the village of Gorbachi as a club manager.

It wasn't that Lyudmila wanted to change Moscow for Gorbachi, lost in the remote wilderness, it was just that back at the institute their Komsomol commissar suggested that she take on a Komsomol obligation to work for three years after the institute in the villages of the Non-Black Earth region. Ludmila didn't want to be a white crow, and had to submit to the general enthusiasm, expecting that she would appear in Gorbachi just for a tick, and in three months she would return back to Moscow.

But the appearance in the village of a new head of the club, in the form of a young and beautiful girl promised to give the cultural life of Gorbachy a great variety, and the chairman of the local collective farm Stepan Kazarin decided to make every effort to make the young specialist stay in the village as long as possible.
