Narrative:
The action of the movie "The Only Man" takes place in the early 80s of the last century. The main character of the movie Marya Nikolaevna Kozlova is the head of a large research institute. And although there were only men working in this institution except for Marya Nikolaevna and the secretary, a foreign partner once noticed that it was Marya Nikolaevna who was the only man in the team.
However, such a comparison did not flatter Marya Nikolaevna, who was still a woman, and like any woman she sometimes wanted to be weak and feel a strong male shoulder beside her. And having made a successful career, Marya Nikolaevna was a lonely woman in her forties, except for a protracted affair with Koretsky, a leading researcher at the Institute.
And one day this same Koretsky offered Marya Nikolaevna to spend a joint vacation in the company of his friends in the Russian countryside, where every year they went "rafting". Going on this trip, Marya Nikolaevna could not have guessed what changes destiny had in store for her, and most importantly, that she would finally meet the one and only man she had dreamed of for so long....
