Narrative:

Action of the film Married for the first time takes place in the 60-70s of the last century. The main character of the film, Antonina Bolotnikova, is a single mother, or as people used to say, a "one-nighter", and has never been married. She gave birth to her only daughter, Tamara, while still studying at a technical school, and the child's father immediately disappeared when he learned of her birth.

Antonina was a proud girl and did not look for her former lover, but dropped out of school and went to work to provide for herself and her little daughter. In these worries, Antonina forgot about her personal life, trying to make sure that her Tamara did not follow in her mother's footsteps.

But as soon as she grew up, selfish Tamara began to be critical of the fact that her mother was just a dishwasher and could not arrange their life with much greater comfort. And soon Tamara had a fiancé - a narcissistic and vulnerable young man Valery, who arrived from the provinces with a manic desire to become an artist. Like most modern young people, Valery wanted everything at once, therefore, he experienced any failures very painfully.

In order not to traumatize the overly sensitive soul of her son-in-law, and at the same time not to interfere with the newlyweds' married life with her presence, Antonina is forced to leave home and finally, for the first time in her life, try to find her personal happiness. At the address received from a friend, she goes to the village, to a widower who dreamed of meeting a good woman...
