Plot of the film Private Person (1980 film):

A criminal gang of teenagers is operating in Yalta, led by recidivist Petra Korzun. Having arrived in the city several years ago, Korzun, under the guise of activist Spiridonov, organized the sports club "Ellada" for difficult teenagers.

The first person to take an interest in this club was police major Vasily Stepanovich Alekseyev. The former operative, who was sent by the management to work with teenagers, was investigating the case of the disappearance of a girl.

В это время в Ялту приезжает старый друг Алексеева — начальник уголовного розыска из Москвы полковник Евгений Лукьянов. При встрече Лукьянов замечает, что Алексеев чем-то сильно угнетён. Обещал встретить в аэропорту и не встретил, номер не забронировал.

Putting the conversation aside until better times, Lukyanov went about his business. He had recently gotten married and decided to devote his next vacation to his young wife. But a few days later, he learned that Alekseyev had died. He had been hit by a car, and local detectives believed it was an accident.

The fact that Alekseev's service pistol was not stolen spoke in favor of this. However, Lukyanov does not believe in such coincidences and initiates his own investigation...
