The plot of the movie You Never Dreamed (movie 1981):
The main characters of the movie are high school students Roman Lavochkin and Katya Shevchenko. Recently Katya and her parents moved to another neighborhood. Ironically, in this neighborhood lived a former admirer of her mother, with whom they broke up fifteen years ago. Konstantin was very much in love with Lyudmila, but she rejected his love.
But, even now, seeing his former lover, Konstantin, in front of his amazed wife and son, rushed to her to help her bring things into the apartment. Ludmila diplomatically refused, because she now has a husband, Vladimir. Konstantin's wife, Vera Vasilyevna, was clearly not happy about this neighborhood. After all, her husband, who yesterday was still lying in bed with a sore back, when he saw his former love, jumped like an eighteen-year-old.
In addition, Konstantin said that he was going to make a new suit. But even more alarmed Vera Vasilyevna, when she learned that the daughter of her husband's former lover, Katya got to study in the same class with her son Roman and they have a close friendship. Lyudmila was also not happy about Konstantin Lavochkin's neighborhood. She knew that he would be like an annoying fly now following her.
But her husband Vladimir reassures her that he will talk to Konstantin in a manly way if he dares to approach Lyudmila. Meanwhile, the relationship between Roman and Katya grows into love, and Roman's mother begins to sound the alarm. All her entreaties to her son to leave and forget Katya do not lead to anything. Then the mother decides to take active measures.
After finishing ninth grade, Roman leaves for a labor camp. At this time, his mother, without asking his consent, transfers him to another school, hoping that the son will forget his hobby. For the novel invented a legend that his transfer is due to the fact that the new school with a physical and mathematical bias, and Roman is good at math.
Но Роман понимает, что перевод в новую школу связан с Катей, а вовсе не с математикой и физикой. Катя сильно переживает по поводу перевода Романа, ведь с ним перевелась и Алена, одноклассница, тоже влюбленная в Романа. Но перевод в другую школу не решил проблему: Роман и Катя продолжали встречаться…
