The plot of the film A father had three sons:
Merchant fleet captain Dmitry Alekseevich raised three sons, each of whom chose their own path in life. The eldest, Kirill, became an artist, the middle one, Yuri, followed in his father's footsteps and became a sailor, and the youngest, Gerka, chose a career as a musician.
The brothers supported each other and lived in harmony until a situation occurred that changed everything. Both eldest sons fell in love with the same girl - Svetlana. This led to significant changes in their relationship.
Conflicts between the brothers became commonplace, and a tense atmosphere arose in their home. Kirill and Yuri, striving to win Svetlana's heart, forgot about the strong bond that once united them.
When hope for peace between them began to fade, a terrible tragedy occurred. As a result of a terrible fire on the ship, they lost their father.
This irreparable loss forced the brothers to unite and leave all their differences in the past...
