Plot of the film Strange Woman (1977 film):

The film's main character, thirty-four-year-old Evgenia, had everything that a simple Soviet person could dream of. A prestigious job, a husband who was a responsible worker, trips abroad, an apartment in Moscow, in short, all the attributes of high prosperity, the only thing missing was love.

One day, Evgenia realized that she and her husband were already quite strangers. They went to visit together, lived in the same apartment, and even slept in the same bed, but between them there was nothing that should be the most important thing in a relationship between a man and a woman.

In addition, Evgenia recently met electronic physicist Nikolai Andrianov, with whom she fell in love at first sight. And after she and Nikolai declared their love, Evgenia realized that she had to tell her husband the truth and leave him.
