Plot:

The action of the film "Jump from the Roof" takes place in the late 70s of the last century. In the research institute of theoretical physics works one modest and timid scientist. However, timidity did not prevent the boldness of his scientific ideas, and as it turned out, he is on the threshold of a new discovery in the field of physics.

But since the scientist could not stand up for himself and was already of retirement age, the director of the institute decided to send him into a well-deserved rest and take credit for his discovery.

Probably, everything would have ended like this, if a young but principled financial auditor Kirill had not come to the institute for an inspection. Having learned about this situation, Kirill reports it directly to the ministry, bypassing his immediate superior and the entire financial department.
