Narrative:
The film "Morning Rounds" takes place in the late 1970s. The main character of the film is a thirty-nine-year-old cardiologist, Lev Nechayev. Nechayev's work is in perfect order, but his personal life is not so for the doctor, who lived only to care for his patients.
It had been several years since Nechaev had divorced his wife and had not yet made any plans for the future, believing that his whole life was still ahead of him, and that it was generally only worth getting married after forty-five years.
Nechaev's apartment was always cheerful, thanks to the company of the surgeon and doctor of medical sciences Malishevsky, who had quarreled with his wife and was living with Nechaev for the time being. Friends, trying to distract Malishevsky from the family drama, often dropped in to visit him, bringing with them young and interesting girls, among whom was Alisa, a student at the Institute of Foreign Languages.
It seemed that love for a young girl could change Nechaev’s plans for life, but the large age difference does not allow him to change his principles...
