Narrative:

The action of the film "Sincerely yours..." takes place in the mid-80s of the last century in Moscow. The main character of the film, Pavel Dobrynin, was an astronomer and spent whole nights sitting at the telescope, watching the stars and dreaming of finding his star someday.

This was work for the future, but the young astronomer lived in the present, and in the present he wanted fame and recognition. But one day the telescope's lens broke, and Pavel was sent to get a new one. However, as it turned out, it was not easy at all, because there were no lenses anywhere, and in order to get one, someone somewhere had to get something.

Then Pavel decided to throw himself under the wheels of a car, to a man who could get practically everything in this city. This man was Grigory Stepanovich Ryzhov – the director of the company "Salut" and the de facto owner of the city.

After Ryzhov became Dobrynin's failed killer, he became obligated to him for the rest of his life and did everything Pavel asked him to do. Not even that, he asked Pavel to arrange something like that for him. Therefore, Pavel now gained real fame, not as a scientist-astronomer, but as an unrivaled master of obtaining deficit goods. As they joked about him in certain circles: "Earlier he got stars from the sky, and now he gets stars from under the ground."

But one day our hero met a young, aspiring actress Katya and fell in love. Katya dreamed of playing the main role in the play, but the director put another actress Nina in this role.

Pavel decides to help Katya, but as it turns out, even with his connections and influence, it is very difficult to resolve this issue, because Nina also had a "hand". But Pavel does not stop in front of difficulties and soberly reasons: if the director does not want to remove Nina from the main role, then she herself needs to refuse it. And to make Nina refuse, Pavel had an old and tried method in extreme cases: throw himself under the wheels of her car...
