Plot:

The action of the film "Your Son and Brother" takes place in the early 60s of the last century. In the village of Srostki in Altai lives a hereditary peasant Yermolai Voevodin. A typical representative of the deep people, a real Russian man, on such, as they say, the Russian land rests.

Yermolai had four sons and a deaf-mute daughter, Vera. The eldest son, Ignat, had lived in Moscow for a long time, where he became a famous circus wrestler. The second son, Stepan, was serving a sentence in prison, and the youngest, Maxim, went to the city to work on a construction site.

And only the third son Vasily stayed to live in the village and continued his father's business. In it, Yermolai is sure that Vasily will not exchange the village for a more comfortable city life, but he understands that the old village is dying and sooner or later it will be difficult to keep the youth here...
