Plot Overheard Conversation (1984 movie):

The movie takes place in the mid-80s. High school student Andrei Eremin tries to become independent from the opinion of the majority, for what in the company of classmates is heard as a white crow. The only one who sympathized with Andrei from all their company was Valerka. He understood that Andrei was a sincere friend, while the rest because of the apartment, tape recorder, fashionable records and jeans.

But one day in their company there was a conversation for one of their former classmates Rita Izotova, with whom Andrei had recently started dating. Rita was accused of writing an anonymous letter to the parents of a girl who had an affair with a boy from the camp.

When he heard that about someone close to him, Andrei remembered that when Rita was in their class, many people made fun of her. And most of all his best friend Valerka. Andrew did not defend Rita, and modestly silent, went home. And the next day he broke off all relations with her.

Rita tries to figure out what happened with Andrei and even turns for help to Valerka, who used to banter with her the most. But now Valerka has radically changed his opinion of Rita, having seen how devotedly she loves Andrei. While Andrei essentially betrayed her, afraid of the opinion of outsiders.

Rita also discovered a different Valerka. Simple, strong and, unlike Andrei, a real man, not a narcissistic romantic. Having found out that Rita started dating Valerka, Andrei tries to justify himself to the girl and return her love. But the train has left and now he has lost not only his favorite girl, but perhaps his best friend....
