Narrative:

The action of the movie "Village Story" takes place in the early 80's of the last century. In the collective farm "Alyoshinsky" of the village of Alyoshkino in the Non-Chernozemye region the construction of new cattle-breeding farms has begun. The construction is carried out by their own forces and the chairman literally has to beat out various building materials.

But in the neighborhood of "Alyoshinsky" collective farm there is a sand quarry, from the director of which it was possible to get these very building materials, but in exchange for the land adjacent to the quarry.

This plot, called in the village of Korovye eel, had not been cultivated for many years and was overgrown with weeds and bushes. Just recently, the chairman instructed a team of mechanizer Grigory Gorelov to prepare eelgrass for sowing, and now it had to be exchanged for cement and other building materials.

However, it was not easy to do this, because Gorelov and his team had already almost cleared the field and refused on principle to transfer the arable land for a new quarry ...
