Narrative:
The action of the film "When Love Is Not Enough" takes place in our time in Moscow. Thirty-nine-year-old Tamara breaks up with her lover, and soon new troubles befall her. One day, returning home, she finds her neighbor Irina Ustinkina in her apartment, with whom she always left the keys just in case.
The problem was that Irina was dead, and not just dead, but killed with a firearm. The detectives who arrived at the scene were trying to figure out who needed to kill the woman and why, and Tamara, not wanting to stay at home after what had happened, went out of town to her dacha.
However, uninvited guests were waiting for her at the dacha, and as Tamara realized, these were people somehow connected with everything that happened to Irina. Only by a miracle does Tamara manage to leave the dacha and return to Moscow, where she stays with her friend.
It seemed that the danger was over, but when a friend in Tamara's coat went out for a walk with a dog, she was attacked. The woman miraculously survived and was sent to the hospital with a severe head injury, and Tamara was forced to return home, pondering the series of these strange and tragic events.
If someone wanted to kill her, what was the motive, since she had no enemies, much less anyone who wanted her dead? Her lawyer friend Yaroslav helps her sort out this matter.
After her grandmother's death, Tamara was supposed to inherit her apartment in a Stalinist high-rise building in the center of Moscow, but it turned out that she had relatives whose existence she never suspected, and in the event of her death they would become the only heirs...
