Plot:

The action of the film "Don't Tell Me Goodbye" takes place in our time, in the Russian outback. The son of the village council chairman, Andrei, is in love with his former classmate Tatyana, whom the locals nicknamed "savage". Tatyana lost her parents in childhood and now lived with her grandfather, a poor forester, so Andrei's father was categorically against his relationship with the girl.

«Не ровня она тебе» — каждый раз повторял отец, когда Андрей отправлялся на свидание с Таней, считая, что эта бедная девушка встречается с Андреем только из-за денег. Понимая, что отец никогда не позволит ему жениться на Тане, Андрей уговаривает ее уехать с ним в город, где они спокойно могли жить невзирая на разногласия его отца и ее деда. While Andrei was thinking about how to get out of this difficult situation, his father tragically dies at the hands of the director of the local sawmill, with whom his father had fallen out with business. But the killer manages to present the case in such a way that all the evidence pointed to Tatyana, especially since everyone in the village knew what a difficult relationship there was between Andrei's father and Tatyana's grandfather.
