Narrative:
The action of the movie "Three in the elevator, not counting the dog" takes place in our time. Successful notary Jeanne Dashyan hurries to a meeting with her client Anton Berezkin. On this day Berezkin was to inherit a plot of land, which he inherited from his father's will.
However, the safe deposit box of the bank where Berezkin's documents were kept turned out to be empty, and according to the guard they were taken away by Zhanna Dashyan, who came to pick them up in the morning, a few hours before the meeting with Berezkin. Stunned by this statement Zhanna tries to explain to her client that the documents must have been stolen and she was framed, but these explanations do not satisfy either Berezkin or his security chief Pesyev, who promises to destroy Zhanna's business reputation.
Jeanne is helped by her loyal friends: Irina, Katya and Irina's husband Ivushkin, a former police officer and now a practicing private detective. On hot trails Ivushkin manages to establish the identity of the girl who came to the bank instead of Zhanna, but it is impossible to talk to her: she is found murdered.
And soon the criminals make an attempt on Zhanna's life by planting an explosive device in her office. After that, Zhanna, her friends and Ivushkin realized that the criminals would stop at nothing, but who was behind it all was still unclear.
In the circle of suspects, gets a certain Pirogov, a businessman, previously claimed to the plot Berezkin, as well as Pesyev head of security service of Berezkin himself. But during a thorough check, it turned out that they had an ironclad alibi....
