Narrative:

The action of the movie "Men Wanted" takes place in the early 80's of the last century. After the army Leningrad resident Alexey Veryaskin enlisted in the North, where he worked as a dump truck driver. But once for drunk driving his license was taken away from him, and the young man had to retrain in concrete.

Returning home, he learns that his mother has brought his stepfather, who has a complicated relationship with Alexei. Soon, Alexei decides to leave for Siberia to build a large HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT.

After joining Anton Pashchenko's concrete crew, Varyaskin proves himself to be a good worker and an experienced specialist. However, when the construction project is threatened by floods and the team has to work extra hours without extra pay, Varyaskin has a conflict with the foreman.

Varyaskin thought that Paschenko is trying not for business, but only to serve before the bosses and earn another promotion, but by personal example brigadier proves that the young man is very mistaken ...
