Narrative:
Once upon a time there lived a king with his queen and for a long time they had no children. But when one day God heard their prayers and gave the happy couple a daughter, the queen died. And the king, having grieved a little, married another woman.
The new queen was a capricious and arrogant woman, and she only spoke cheerfully and kindly to her magic mirror, because every day the mirror quite rightly convinced the queen that she was the most beautiful in the world.
But when the young princess blossomed, the mirror just as rightly began to convince the queen that no matter how beautiful she was, the young princess was still more beautiful...
Having heard the bitter truth, the queen became furious. Deciding to get rid of her rival as quickly as possible, she ordered her servants to take the young princess to the forest, where she would be left to be eaten by wolves.
But the young princess did not become the prey of the wolves, but a welcome guest in the house of the seven brothers, the heroes, who called her their sister. Having learned that the princess was still alive, the queen dressed as a beggar and went to the house of the seven heroes, and in her pocket she had a poisoned apple intended for the young princess...
