Plot of the TV series Soldiers Season 5:
In season 5, the long-awaited one finally arrives demobilization for the first generation of conscripts of the 1st season: Gunko, Sokolov and Vakutagin. The joy of the demobilized soldiers is shared by yesterday's greenhorns: Nesterov, Shchur, Papazoglo and Lavrov, who were not only freed from the oppression of the old-timers, but also took their place by right and length of service.
Now they had to pass on their soldierly experience and knowledge to a new generation of young soldiers: Mazaev, Kot, Maksimenko, Kichibekov and Tslav, who in his own image and likeness turned out to be the prototype of his older comrade Papazoglo.
Meanwhile, Corporal Kuzma Sokolov, who has returned home, after several joyful days of celebrations on the occasion of his demobilization, is trying to arrange his life in civilian life. But as it turns out, there are not so many great prospects in his native village for a hard-working young man with extraordinary mental abilities.

And soon Kuzma receives the rank of warrant officer and is sent to serve as a sergeant major in his native 2nd company instead of senior warrant officer Shmatko, who, due to a conflict with the company commander Kudashov, was transferred to the fuel and lubricants warehouse.
Captain Kudashov himself can't calm down and is in conflict with everyone: soldiers, warrant officers and even senior officers. He doesn't have a single friend in the unit that he could rely on in difficult times, and Kudashov, for some reason, hoped that he simply couldn't have any difficulties.
But one day, a letter from the prosecutor's office arrives at the unit, from which it follows that Kudashov has a young son from his first marriage, and is hiding from paying alimony, traveling from one military unit to another...
