The plot of the movie Deserter (movie 1997):
The action of the movie takes place in the mid-80s of the last century. After the wedding paratrooper officer Captain Igor Skvortsov (Skif) goes to serve in Afghanistan. Soon his young wife Olga follows him, but on the way she is captured by the mujahideen.
The command refuses Skif to allocate people to rescue his wife, then Skvortsov was forced to go on a malfeasance and seize a helicopter. In the course of the operation to rescue Olga Skif destroys the mujahideen base, but even this does not save him from the tribunal and soon he as a deserter appears before the military court...
