Narrative:

The action of the movie takes place in our time. The plot centers on the Shamanov family, who lived in a house lost in the Don steppes, in a place called "Shamanova Balka". The head of the family Grigory Ivanovich Shamanov established a strict order in the house, based, first of all, on respect for elders, and his father's word was the law for the members of his numerous family.

And in Grigory Shamanov's family there were four sons and two daughters, who, with the exception of the eldest children Lena and Victor, lived under the same roof with their tyrant father. The eldest son Victor Shamanov was a special pride of the head of the family, because he had achieved great heights in Moscow and now financed the whole family.

Twenty-five years ago, Victor left his father's home involuntarily. Convicted of murder, he was sent to a penal colony to serve his sentence, from which he came out a completely different person. Strong and brave, as his father had dreamed of seeing him. These qualities allowed Victor Shamanov to make a dizzying career in the criminal world, becoming one of the most influential authorities of Moscow, nicknamed "Shaman".

But sooner or later in the criminal world there is a conflict of interest, which ends with the physical elimination of not only competitors, but also former business partners. The next victim of gang warfare is the closest associate of "Shaman", a major St. Petersburg authority "Banker".

Realizing that he may be the next "Shaman" decides to take refuge in his homeland, in his father's house, lost in the Don steppes. Victor's arrival coincides with the anniversary of his grandfather Ivan Matveyevich Shamanov, who in a few days should be a hundred years old. But many people in the house realize that Victor's arrival has nothing to do with his grandfather's anniversary, so the atmosphere in the family heats up and grows into a conflict between the father and his youngest son Andrei.

Andrei has long been fed up with life and the atmosphere that reigned in his family, so, without waiting for morning, he decides to leave his father's house. At this time, a group of professional killers comes on the trail of "Shaman" and takes positions around his house...
