Plot:
The action of the film "Green House" takes place in the mid-60s of the last century. The main character of the film, Evgeny Silaev, was introduced to the forest from an early age. His grandfather was a forester in the Urals and every year the boy visited him during the summer holidays, so the choice of future profession for the former naval petty officer was, as they say, predetermined.
Having completed the courses for forestry foremen, Evgeny receives an appointment to one of the taiga "Lespromkhozes". The team welcomed the young foreman, but on his first days of work, Silaev notices that the forest is being cut down with major violations.
In pursuit of the plan and earnings, young trees were mercilessly destroyed, which is why Silaev soon comes into conflict with other foremen and the management of the "Lespromkhoz". His wife leaves him, and for disrupting the logging plan, the principled Evgeny is demoted to an ordinary lumberjack. However, despite this, the majority of workers gathered to support the young master...
