Plot of the series Game season 2 (Revenge):

The action of the series "Game. Revenge" takes place three years after the events described in the first season of the series. Colonel Pavel Belov resigned from the FSB and headed the security service of a large bank. And the elusive killer Alexei Smolin, who was neutralized by Belov's efforts, received a well-deserved punishment in the form of life imprisonment.

Soon the colony reported that the convicted Smolin had been killed by a cellmate and Belov finally breathed a sigh of relief. After all, only a dead Smolin could guarantee him and his family deliverance from the horror they had to endure.

However, nightmares connected with Smolin begin to torment Belov again, and intuitively he feels that his main enemy is alive and thirsts for revenge. Intuition did not fail Belov this time either, and Smolin was indeed alive.
