Narrative:
The action of the series "Death Highway" takes place in our days. On the side of one of the Moscow region roads, a van was found, the driver of which was killed by a shot to the head. The version with the purpose of robbery was immediately rejected by detectives, because the goods and the driver's money remained in place.
While the district police department was pondering the situation, a few days later a retired couple was murdered on the same highway. Only this time the criminal used a sharpened file as a murder weapon. Since sharpened files are usually used by "prisoners", the detectives manage to identify the suspect quite quickly.
However, the murders on the highway continue, and each time the method of murder changes, which gives detectives reason to believe that there is not a lone maniac but a whole gang operating on the highway. But what is the motive for these senseless murders, since all the victims are not connected to each other in any way?
