Narrative:

Action of the film Invincible takes place in the late 20s of the last century. Andrei Khromov dreams of creating a new universal type of martial art that would become the basis for training Red Army soldiers. Khromov travels around the country, studies various types of wrestling of the many peoples inhabiting Russia and selects the most valuable for his new fight.

The idea to create a universal type of struggle came to Khromov after the Black Hundreds brutally suppressed peaceful student demonstrations during the Revolution. The students were smart, handsome, knew how to argue, but did not know how to fight, so the Black Hundreds squads, armed with sticks, knives and brass knuckles, easily defeated the unarmed students. On that fateful day, Andrei Khromov's brother also died.

Self-defense without weapons is the main principle of the new fight that Khromov worked on. After the Caucasus, he goes to Central Asia to study the folk fight kurash. Very soon, among the local population, Khromov gets the nickname "Invincible" and great authority among the local population.

At this time, a gang of a certain Jafar, a Basmachi and an inveterate enemy of Soviet power, is operating in the region. Jafar attacks villages, kills Soviet activists and terrorizes the local population. But Jafar's main goal was ancient Tibetan manuscripts that contain secrets of influencing a person, both for the purpose of healing and for the purpose of killing.

The keeper of the manuscript, the local sage Juma, decides to pass the manuscripts on to his student Khromov, because he is convinced of Andrey’s pure intentions, in whose hands this ancient knowledge will serve for the benefit of people.

Having learned that Khromov has the manuscripts, Jafar starts a real hunt for Khromov and his new friends: Lailo and Yulchi. Finally, their paths cross in a village that Jafar has captured. A face-to-face duel between the two martial artists should now decide who will get the secrets of the Tibetan sages...
